is originally from El Paso where there is no Swing Dancing. He moved to California in March of 2001 after joining the United States Marine Corps. Discovering the swing scene in 2003. Since then swing has become one of his main passions.

Maxie Dorf, Willie Desatoff, Dean Collins, Shorty George, Al Minns and Leon James are among his heroes. Augie has attended many events across the United States but is most proud of his travels through Europe. Competing in many events across the EU including: Swing Camp Herrang, London Balboa Festival, Frenchie Balboa Festival, Paris Balboa and Shag Festival, Swing Crash Como, Lindy Shock, and Studio Hop Summer Camp in Toulouse France. While traveling, he met his current partner and girlfriend Delphine Laurens. Currently an instructor at Atomic Ballroom in Irvine California, Augie has made various teaching appearances in the United Kingdom, as well as the Los Angeles area. Augie prides himself on his clarity as a teacher and emphasis towards mastering the basics with style.

recently moved to the United States from Paris France. Originally a salsa and rock n' roll dancer, Delphine discovered Swing dances after watching video clips of Kevin and Carla. Since then, Delphine has

received the best instruction from the world's finest in Lindy Hop and Balboa. She has competed and placed in many competitions including the National Jitterbug Championships Jack and Jill and Balboa Contests in Los Angeles California. Delphine has a very unique, fun, and feminine style as well as a keen sense of musicality. She is also a member of the Competition Dance Troupe called "Keep 'Em Flying," which placed 3rd at Camp Hollywood 2008. Delphine currently teaches with her Partner Augie Freeman at Atomic Ballroom in Irvine California which has enhaced her ability to express herself as a dancer.
